All animals at our shelter are in need of a second chance. When you choose to adopt, you are not only saving a life, you are helping to break the cycle of pet overpopulation. You also have a variety of breeds, genders, and ages to choose from. Sometimes we have specific breeds, but we also have some of the greatest mutts you'll ever find as a companion! And best of all, when you adopt, you make room in the shelter for another homeless pet to find their new family.

Pre-Adoption
Have you heard of our Pre-Adoption program?! It is an amazing new
program designed to help adopters and the animals in our care.
With Veterinarian appointments sometimes taking weeks to schedule, we are doing our best to send dogs and cats home sooner!
With Pre-Adoption you can take your new family member home while we wait for a Spay or Neuter appointment or other pending medical appointments. Once the appointment is scheduled we will inform you of the date and the dog or cat will come back to the shelter for his/her appointment. After that the adoption will be finalized and your new family member is yours forever.
With this new program we are still requiring applications that will need
to be approved before you can take your new family member home. We want to stress how important it is to bring back the dog or cat for its
appointment so we can continue to reduce the population of unwanted pets and so we can continue this amazing program.
