TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Kicks Off
Movers for Mutts® Drive to Support People For Pets Humane Society Community-supported program aids homeless pets this fall.

Twin Falls, Idaho, September 16 – September 21 — To assist animal shelters that house and support animals in need of a permanent home, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Twin Falls is hosting its annual Movers for Mutts collection drive this fall.

Pets are considered an important part of any family, but this fall, many pets living in animal shelters could use the community’s support in securing adequate amounts of food, toys, and everyday living essentials until they find their forever home.

Eye opening statistics from the ASPCA reveal that approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. In addition, the ASPCA says each year, approximately 920,000 shelter animals are euthanized.

People for Pets is a grassroots Humane Society founded in 1986 by a handful of concerned citizens who wanted to improve the lives of strays and lost and abandoned pets in the Magic Valley. Thirty-eight years later they have accomplished this goal of operating with more than an 85 percent adoption/return to owner rate.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Twin Falls has a strong partnership with People for Pets and helped this shelter on several occasions, to unload very heavy items to care for the animals.

This year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Twin Falls will host a collection drive for People For Pets Humane Society. Donations can be dropped off at 420 Victory Avenue, Twin Falls.

Necessary items for donation include:

Dog, dry cat, and other animal food
Towels
Old blankets
Pet treats
Leashes & collars
Pet toys
Litter
Grooming
